How the service works
An event class is determined by features as well as crowd size. A small event with alcohol or road closures can need more notice than a basic gathering. The city will not consider an application that replicates an event or program it already offers under its event policy.
Park event organizers also need to budget for setup and takedown days, rental delivery, tables, fencing, portable toilets and any assigned staff or security. A refundable park damage/security deposit is required for city-park events. Partner Events need a $530.45 Signature Park Event Deposit for consideration; if approved, it goes toward final permit costs.

Can I advertise before the city’s written endorsement?
