Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Senior Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire Cloud, GOSU development, ClaimCenter integrations, and Cloud APIs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Guidewire ClaimCenter applications while collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
The candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter, integration frameworks, Guidewire Cloud technologies, and Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance processes, particularly within the Claims domain
Key Responsibilities
Guidewire Development & Customization
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions.
- Develop and customize ClaimCenter business rules, workflows, UI components, integrations, and data models.
- Build and extend Guidewire Cloud APIs using GOSU.
- Configure and customize Guidewire accelerators, predefined plugins, and batch processes.
- Design scalable and reusable solutions following Guidewire best practices.
Integration Development
- Design and develop integrations between ClaimCenter and external systems.
- Implement RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Cloud API-based integrations.
- Work with Guidewire Messaging Engine, Message Queues, Message Transports, and Plugins.
- Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance and reliability.
Cloud & Modern Application Development
- Develop and support applications hosted on Guidewire Cloud Platform.
- Work with Guidewire Cloud tools and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in cloud migration, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure application scalability, security, and performance standards.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Reverse engineer existing applications and analyze code written in other technologies.
- Collaborate with architects to define technical solutions and integration strategies.
Agile Delivery
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Manage source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and related DevOps tools.
- Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and product owners to deliver quality solutions.
Primary Skills (Must Have):
- Guidewire Associate Certification
- Guidewire Senior Developer with ClaimCenter functional and integration API knowledge
- GOSU development extending Cloud APIs
- Understanding of Claims domain is a plus
- Proven years proven experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Development
- Expertise in GOSU Language configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators Guidewire Batch and Guidewire predefined plugins
- Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products
- Agile software development including the use of Git Bitbucket Jenkins Jira Confluence etc.
- Domain knowledge on Property and Casualty Insurance
- Proven years of experience with coding GOSU Language
- Expertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications
- Experience building modern web applications and designing Web APIs with RESTJSON
- In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer centric development
- Guidewire ClaimCenter Contact Manager experience
- Experience working on Guidewire Cloud
- Handson experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter Proficiency in designing developing and managing Guidewire ClaimCenter features and capabilities
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Tools TeamCity Bitbucket Data Dog Guidewire Home
- Understanding Guidewire Messaging Engine Message Queues Message Transports Plugins
- Proven years of experience with relational databases
- Experience in implementing Cloud APIs Web Services
