Archer Eastway

Founded in 2016, Archer Eastway is a lithium-ion battery material recovery group built around a single idea: every battery has more than one life, and the materials inside it should never go to waste.

We operate across three connected businesses that together form a closed loop for battery materials:

Buying - We purchase battery-derived materials directly from producers, processors, and manufacturers as feedstock for our refining and recycling operations, including NMC and LFP black mass and cathode/anode foils.

Recycling - We purchase end-of-life lithium-ion batteries from businesses across North America and recycle them through our processing partners, handling transport and documentation end to end.

Repurposing - We grade and refurbish lithium-ion batteries that still have useful life left, returning them to service rather than sending them straight to material recovery.

Headquartered in Markham, Ontario, Archer Eastway operates across Canada and the United States, with a buying network that reaches producers, processors, and manufacturers across the supply chain.
