Enercare’s most important technology work spans products, platforms, business teams and partners. We need a senior, hands-on Delivery Lead who thrives in that complexity. You will stay close to work, create clarity, unite teams and lead from the front - not manage from a spreadsheet.
Simply put you help turn ambitious ideas into technology that works.
What you'll do
- Own the outcome, not just the plan. Take accountability for complex technology initiatives from ideas through implementation. Keep teams focused on measurable business and customer outcomes.
- Make cross-team delivery work. Bring Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Operations, business teams and partners together around shared goals.
- Get your hands dirty. Join planning sessions, technical discussions, dependency reviews and delivery problem-solving when your experience can help the team move faster.
- Lead from the front. Demonstrate what strong delivery looks like. Create clarity, ask difficult questions, help make decisions and follow through.
- See around corners. Understand the architecture, technology, dependencies and business context well enough to identify risks early and act before they become delivery issues.
- Balance speed with quality. Champion secure engineering, DevOps, automation, resilient solutions and sound architecture without losing delivery momentum.
- Build stronger teams while delivering. Coach leaders and practitioners, share your expertise and continuously raise the delivery bar across the organization.
Who we're looking for
You can quickly understand a complex situation and help strong teams find a practical way forward.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in technology, including 5+ years in senior leadership or delivery leadership roles.
- A strong record of delivering large, complex technology initiatives across multiple teams, platforms and business areas.
- The technical depth to engage credibly on APIs, cloud platforms, CI/CD, microservices, containers, architecture, security and production operations.
- Experience with modern technology environments such as Java, Node.js, React.js, Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Docker and Kubernetes.
- A pragmatic understanding of Agile delivery, DevOps automation, secure software development and modern engineering practices.
- The ability to communicate with engineers, partners, business leaders and executives, and to turn differing views into aligned action.
- Calm judgment under pressure, a bias for action and the confidence to challenge assumptions respectfully.
You'll love this role if
- You get energy from solving messy problems and bringing different teams together.
- You believe leadership means showing people how, not simply telling them what to do.
- When someone says, “That is not my team’s problem,” your instinct is to help everyone see it as our problem to solve together.
