Job Posting:
Insurance Sales Broker – Home & Auto (Personal & Commercial Lines)
About Us
Agincourt Insurance Brokers Ltd. is a growing brokerage committed to protecting what matters most to our clients across the Greater Toronto Area. We value integrity, continuous growth, and a team-first environment where your sales drive directly translates to your earning potential.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven, customer-focused Insurance Sales Broker to join our Personal Lines team. In this role, you will focus on Personal and Commercial Lines. You will prospect for new clients, assess individual risk exposures, compare competitive rates across top-tier Canadian insurance carriers, and close new business while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and convert prospective clients looking for personal home and auto coverage through networking, incoming warm leads, and targeted outreach.
Risk Assessment: Evaluate client property, vehicles, driving records, and liability needs to recommend the correct underlying coverages, deductibles, and policy endorsements.
Multi-Carrier Quoting: Utilize insurance portal systems to generate comparative quotes, maximize policy bundling discounts (home + auto), and present customized coverage options.
Client Retention: Build strong relationships to manage annual policy renewals, perform proactive coverage reviews, and assist clients through the initial steps of the claims process.
Compliance:
Ensure accurate documentation in our broker management system (BMS) in full compliance with provincial regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Licensing: Valid Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) license is strictly required.
Experience: 1 to 3+ years of experience specializing in personal lines (home and auto) insurance sales within a brokerage environment.
Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of Ontario auto insurance regulations (OAP 1), statutory accident benefits, and residential property policy forms.
Skills: Strong sales closing skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and a knack for explaining complex coverage details in simple terms.
Tech-Savvy: Experience using broker software (e.g., Applied Epic, TAM, or Keal) and comparative rating engines (e.g., Compu-Quote or Applied Rating).
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary + Commission: Competitive base salary paired with a competitive commission structure on new business and renewal commissions.
Benefits:
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance package.
Work Environment: Work with existing experienced team to take your career to new heights.
